We suggest you uninstall any test or beta version of Essential HDR before the installation of Standard Edition. Please note, the Community Edition and the Standard Edition are two different software. You can not use the license to upgrade Community Edition to Standard Edition. The license is for Standard Edition only.

After the purchase you will receive emails about a one-time-use download link. Please enter license information exactly as what you entered during purchase. For example, if you put "n/a" in the company name field during check out, you must enter "n/a" in company name field on the license dialog.

Current feature set:

  • Create HDR image from one single camera raw file or linear TIFF file (16 bit per channel, 48 bit per pixel, integer RGB)
  • Merge 1 or many Jpeg, Bmp, Tif, or Camera Raw files (such as CRW, CR2, NEF, ARW, MRW, DNG) into one HDR image
  • Open existing RGBE HDR images (*.HDR)
  • Open existing OpenEXR HDR images (*.EXR) - (32 bit per channel, 96 bit per pixel, float piont, RGB)
  • Save tone-mapping result as Jpeg, Bmp, Tif, or copy to system clipboard
  • Drag and drop any file or files

  • 32-bit Windows XP SP2 and above
  • or Windows Vista SP1 and above
  • 1GB main memory minimal, 2GB preferred
  • 1.6 GHz CPU minimal, Dual-Core CPU preferred
  • Screen resolution: 1024x768 minimal, 1280x1024 preferred

Essential HDR can run on 64-bit Windows XP or Vista. However, our current support effort focuses on 32-bit OS.
